Pros in Training

Dreaming of becoming a Ski Instructor? Start Here!

If you are between 14 and 18 years old and can confidently ski parallel skier at a controlled speed down a blue run, this is your chance to turn that passion into purpose. Our 9 week Instructor Development Program is designed to launch your journey to becoming a Ski Instructor, with hands on experience and expert training every step of the way.

Each morning, you'll assist instructors with organizing groups, shadow lessons, support the process for creating and managing ski groups while in the kids centre, and gain insight into snow school operations, policies, and procedures. In the afternoons, you'll join a structured training session led by a CSIA Level 1 Course Conductor, where you'll be introduced to the CSIA’s innovative skiing techniques and teaching methods. Ready to carve your path toward becoming a ski instructor? This is where it begins.

Being a former participant of the Ski & Board School Free Ride program, Big White Freestyle team or Big White Ski Club is a bonus but not a requirement.
