Big White Ski Resort Donates $1,000 to Central Okanagan Food Bank to Provide $3,000 Worth of Thanksgiving Turkeys
This contribution ensures that many local families will have access to hearty meals during the holiday season, a time that can be particularly difficult for those experiencing food insecurity.
The COFB provides crucial nutritional assistance to individuals and families struggling with financial and food insecurity. As a charitable not-for-profit organization, COFB depends on the generosity of the community to continue its work through donations of food, funds, and volunteer time.
“We’re thrilled that our donation will be able to help so many families this Thanksgiving,” said Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President of Big White Ski Resort. “We believe in the strength of community and the power of giving back. The Central Okanagan Food Bank does tremendous work to support those in need, and we are honoured to contribute to their efforts. We encourage everyone in the community to do what they can to support this important cause.”
Big White Ski Resort urges others to join them in supporting the Central Okanagan Food Bank. Donations of any size make a significant difference in helping COFB continue providing essential services to those facing hunger and food insecurity. To donate, please visit: cofoodbank.com/donate.
