What is Never Ever Days?
Never Ever Day events are the ultimate way to learn to ski or snowboard, attracting individuals from diverse backgrounds, by minimizing the barrier of cost. Canada’s ski areas are committed to growing participation in snow sports, and this year, over 80 ski areas will deliver the best learning experience to over 14,000 participants. Through partnerships between Big White Ski Resort, the Canadian Ski Council (CSC), and sponsors, we are making skiing and snowboarding more accessible than ever. What to bring
Credit Card: A credit card imprint is required for security purposes on equipment rentals. Guests will be charged in the event of missing or stolen equipment.
Photo ID: We require government issued photo ID to check-in all guests.
A sense of adventure! Gliding down a snow-covered mountain gives a feeling of freedom and exhilaration like no other!

What to wear
Mitts or Gloves: These are considered personal items, and cannot be rented. We have an excellent selection available to buy in our retail stores.
Goggles or Sunglasses: Even if it is a cloudy outside, eye protection is an important addition to ensure your comfort for the day. These are considered personal items, and cannot be rented.
Jacket and Pants: It's recommended you wear a waterproof jacket and pants. If you don't have any, a limited supply is available for rental.
Other Warm Layers: Such as long underwear, sport socks, neck warmers to stay nice and cozy all day long.

Your experience
Parking: Free parking is located in the Happy Valley parking lot. From Happy Valley you can take the free gondola to the village. Just look for our Instructors in bright red jacket and pants if you need help.
Meet & Greet: Check-in at the Ski School Desk in the Village Centre Mall at 8:30am on your selected day. You'll meet your instructor and group and your instructor will help you with your rental equipment. After you have got your rentals, meet your group at the Big White Chair by the Ski & Board School Meeting Place for 9:45am.
Beginner Area: Once you're set up with all your gear, your instructor and your group, you'll head to our Learning Area with your group and instructor.
Lunch Break: Participants will have time on their own for a lunch break.
Back out we Go! The afternoon will be spent with more instruction and to go over your new skills.

LESSON ABILITY LEVELS
A pre lesson assessment will be carried out by our snow pros to ensure you are in the group which best suits your ambitions and abilities. All lessons are grouped based on ability level and age.
