Synopsis
A series of impulses from Pacific lows impacting the BC coast are expected to bring periods of snow and light-moderate ridge winds today/tonight, then flurries with moderate ridge winds tomorrow and finally periods of snow and moderate ridge winds Friday night. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1600-2000 m today, then falling to 1000-1400 m tomorrow and before returning to 1600-2000 m on Friday.
3 to 5 Day Outlook
Fair, dry and milder conditions with moderate-strong ridge winds are expected on Saturday. A low is expected to move through the province on Sunday bringing periods of wet snow and strong-extreme ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2200-2600 m on Saturday and up to 2000-2400 m on Sunday are expected.
