Ridge wind SW-W 30-40 km/h gusting to 40-50 km/h today, becoming W-NW 35-45 km/h gusting to 50-60 km/h tonight. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1400 m today, then falling to valley bottom tonight.

Synopsis

A Pacific low is expected to push inland to the interior today bringing flurries and moderate-strong ridge winds through tonight. Next, a ridge of high pressure will build into the region tomorrow providing fair and dry conditions with light-moderate ridge winds into Friday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1400 m today, falling to 800-1200 m tomorrow, before rising to 1600-2000 m on Friday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The ridge is expected to continue providing fair and dry but milder alpine conditions with light ridge winds on Saturday. Next, another low is expected to move through the region bringing scattered flurries and light-moderate ridge winds on Sunday Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2200-2600 m is expected Saturday, then falling to 1800-2200 m on Sunday.
