Mainly cloudy becoming partly cloudy tonight. Ridge wind NW-W 25-35 km/h gusting to 40-50 km/h today, becoming 10-20 km/h occasionally gusting to 25-35 km/h tonight. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1200-1600 m today, then falling to valley bottom tonight.

Synopsis

A ridge of high pressure is expected to bring fair and dry conditions through tomorrow with moderate ridge winds today, becoming light tonight/tomorrow. Next, a strong Pacific low is expected to move into the BC coast on Tuesday bringing period of snow and strong ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1200-1600 m today, then rising to 1800-2200 m tomorrow, before falling to 1400-1800 m on Tuesday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

In the wake of the low, lingering moisture is expected bring flurries on Wednesday/Thursday with moderate-strong ridge winds on Wednesday, becoming moderate on Thursday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1200-1600 m are expected on both days.
