Mostly cloudy with scattered flurries is expected over the day today, then becoming overcast with light snow tonight and tomorrow, with total of 5-10 cm of snowfall accumulations possible today through tomorrow. Moderate to strong W-SW ridge winds near 35-45 km/h gusting up to 50-60 km/h are expected over much of today, tonight and tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1300 m are expected today through tomorrow.

Synopsis

A series of weak disturbances is expected to move into the region from the north with scattered flurries today, then light snow tonight and tomorrow, with moderate-strong ridge winds expected today through tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1300 m are expected through tomorrow.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The weak low system is expected to continue to bring further flurries and moderate-strong ridge winds on Friday. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to build up over the region on Saturday with clear conditions and light ridge winds expected over the weekend. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1600 m are expected through much of the outlook period.
