Synopsis

A ridge of high pressure will build into the region today providing fair, dry and milder alpine conditions through the weekend with light-moderate ridge winds today/Sunday and light ridge winds tonight/tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1800-2200 m today, then rising to 2200-2600 m tomorrow and finally 3000-3400 m on Sunday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The ridge will continue to provide fair, dry and milder conditions most of Monday, then a low is expected to track across the central BC interior Monday night/Tuesday bringing rain showers Monday evening, then cooler alpine temperatures and flurries afterwards. Moderate ridge winds on Monday and strong ridge winds on Tuesday are also expected. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 3000-3400 m on Monday, then falling to 1200-1600 m on Tuesday.
