A mix of sun and cloud today, becoming mainly cloudy with isolated flurries tonight. Isolated amounts up to Trace-2 cm are possible by tomorrow morning. Ridge wind SW-W 20-30 km/h gusting to 35-45 km/h today, becoming W-NW 15-25 km/h gusting to 30-40 km/h tonight. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1600-2000 m today, then falling to valley bottom tonight.

Synopsis

A ridge of high pressure will continue to provide fair and dry conditions today with light-moderate ridge winds today. Next, some instability in the region will bring flurries tonight/tomorrow and moderate-strong ridge winds tomorrow. Another ridge of high pressure will build into the region on Monday providing fair and dry conditions and moderate-strong ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1600-2000 m today, falling to 800-1200 m tomorrow, and finally 600-1000 m on Monday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The ridge will continue to provide fair and dry conditions and moderate ridge winds on Tuesday before an impulse associated with a large Pacific low brings periods of snow and moderate ridge winds on Wednesday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1200-1600 m are expected Tuesday/Wednesday.
