Synopsis
A ridge of high pressure will continue to provide fair, dry and mild alpine conditions over the day today, with generally light ridge winds as well. A weak low is expected to track across the central BC interior tonight bringing a rain showers/flurries mix and moderate-strong ridge winds tonight, followed by cooler alpine conditions, flurries and strong ridge winds on Tuesday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 3000-3500 m are expected today, then falling to 1400-1600 m tonight and tomorrow.
3 to 5 Day Outlook
Another ridge of high pressure will build up on Wednesday returning to fair, dry and milder alpine conditions through most of the outlook period, with light-moderate ridge winds on Wednesday becoming light on Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1700-1900 m are expected on Wednesday, then rising to 2500-3000 m on Thursday and Friday.
