A series of impulses associated with a strong Pacific low near the northern BC coast are expected to bring unsettled conditions through Monday with scattered flurries tonight, periods of snow tomorrow, and finally scattered flurries on Monday. Light-moderate ridge winds today/tonight, becoming moderate-strong tomorrow/Monday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1500 m are expected today, 500-1000 m tonight, up to 1000-1500 m tomorrow and up to 1500-2000 m on Monday.
3 to 5 Day Outlook
A ridge of high pressure is expected to build over the region on Tuesday which may allow for an alpine temperature inversion to occur Tuesday into Wednesday afternoon. Light to moderate ridge winds are expected Tuesday/Wednesday. Finally, a weak impulse may bring isolated flurries Wednesday night. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2000-2500 m are expected on Tuesday, and up to 1800-2200 m on Wednesday.
