A ridge of high pressure sitting over the region is expected to continue bringing fair and dry conditions today and tonight with light to moderate ridge winds. Next, a strong Pacific low is expected to move into the BC coast, bringing period of snow and strong ridge winds tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1800-2000 m are expected today, then falling to near 1500-1800 m tonight and tomorrow.

In the wake of the low, lingering moisture is expected to bring flurries on Wednesday/Thursday with moderate-strong ridge winds on Wednesday, becoming moderate on Thursday. Then a high pressure building up over the region is expected to bring clear and dry conditions with light ridge winds on Friday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1300-1600 m are expected through most of the outlook period.
