Overcast with snow through this evening with isolated flurries overnight tonight. Total snowfall amounts up to 7-12 cm are possible by tomorrow morning. Light ridge winds up to 15 km/h are expected through this evening, then increasing to NW-N 20-30 km/h gusting to 35-45 km/h overnight tonight. Freezing levels are expected to be in the 1300-1500 m range today and 300-500 m range tonight.

Synopsis

The warm front associated with a Pacific low near the US Northwest is expected to bring snow through this evening, then isolated flurries overnight with light ridge winds becoming light-moderate overnight. A ridge of high pressure builds into the region tomorrow with fair and dry conditions through the weekend. Meanwhile, light-moderate ridge winds on Friday becoming light on the weekend with freezing levels up to 600-1000 m are expected through the weekend.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

A disturbance is expected to move into the region on Monday with periods of snow and light-moderate ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels are expected to rise to the 1100-1300 m range.
