Rainfall accumulations up to 2-4 mm are possible today through tomorrow night. Ridge wind S-SW 30-40 km/h gusting to 45-55 km/h today, becoming 20-30 km/h gusting to 35-45 km/h tonight, and returning to 35-45 km/h gusting to 50-60 km/h tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2500-3000 m today through tomorrow.

Synopsis

An atmospheric river pattern impacting the province continues to bring milder conditions with isolated rain showers/drizzle today and tonight, then resuming to fair conditions over the day tomorrow, and followed with light rain tomorrow night. Moderate- strong ridge winds are also generally expected today/tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2500-3000 m are expected today through tomorrow.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

A Pacific low is expected to push into the interior BC, bringing periods of light rain over the day Friday then turning to isolated flurries overnight and lingering on Saturday morning, before resuming to fair weather by Saturday afternoon. Moderate-strong ridge winds are expected on Friday, then diminishing to light-moderate Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2300-2700 m over the day Friday, then falling to 1200-1700 m Friday night into Saturday, and slightly rising up to 1500-1900 m on Sunday.
