Fair and dry conditions are expected today and tonight, then becoming mostly cloudy with rain showers over the day tomorrow and scattered flurries tomorrow night, with rainfall amounts of 3-6 mm and snowfall amounts of trace-2 mm possible. Light ridge winds are expected today and tonight, then picking up to 25-35 km/h with gusts up to 40-50 km/h tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to the 2700-3000 m range through the day tomorrow, then falling to around 1800 m tomorrow night.

Synopsis

Mainly fair weather is expected today and tonight due to a ridge of high pressure sitting over the region, then followed by rain showers over the day tomorrow and flurries tomorrow night with a weak low approaching from the west. Light ridge winds are expected today and tonight, then becoming moderately strong tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to the 2700-3000 m range through the day tomorrow, then falling to around 1800 m tomorrow night.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

An impulse from a Pacific low tracking through the region is expected to bring light snow on Friday, and mix of showers and flurries Saturday, then returning to fair weather on Sunday. Moderate-strong ridge winds are also expected Friday/Saturday and light-moderate on Sunday. Meanwhile, freezing levels in the range of 1700-2200 m are expected through most of the outlook period.
