Join us for the second year of Music in the Mountains at Big White Ski Resort - an unforgettable live music experience set high in the alpine. 

Enjoy incredible performances surrounded by panoramic mountain views, fresh alpine air, and the unmistakable Big White summer vibe. This isn’t your typical concert — getting there is part of the adventure.

Your journey begins with a scenic ride on the Bullet Express Chairlift. From the top of the lift, you can settle in and enjoy the music right away, or take a short walk along Peak Trail to discover stunning viewpoints where you can relax and take in the sounds of summer in the mountains.

Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, vibrant wildflowers, and the peaceful energy of the alpine, Music in the Mountains offers a truly unique blend of live music and natural beauty.

Whether you're here for the music, the views, or the adventure of getting there, this is a mountain experience you won’t want to miss.

What to Bring

This is a true alpine experience, so please come prepared!

• A camp chair or blanket to sit on

• Water and snacks (there are no amenities on-site)

• Weather-appropriate clothing – it can be cooler at elevation

• Sunscreen and a hat – there’s limited shade up top

• Good walking shoes – the 1.5km hike is gentle but uneven and steep in places

Tennyson King

The international touring act, Tennyson King, is rapidly gathering fans all over the world. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada, this nomadic musician brings a jovial personality to the stage. He often appears solo in great halls to small intimate theatres stunning the crowd with stories of adventure and travels while strumming electrifying guitar sounds paired with silky vocal lines. Bring in the band on the big festival stage, they create a huge sound surely to get everyone moving. Rock and roll infused with earthy roots and blues subtly laced in psychedelic ear candy.

If you’re looking for the place where your soul can be wild and your heavy-heart assuaged, follow the sound of Tennyson’s crisp, round voice, as he plucks an electric chord and hammers out a beat on the kick-drum. Tennyson is a true indie, folk rock nomad.
