Synopsis

An atmospheric river pattern is expected to linger this morning with light showers or drizzle, then resuming to fair weather tonight and tomorrow due to a ridge of high pressure building up over the region. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2700 m today, falling to around 1800 m tonight and up to 3100 m with mild temperatures tomorrow.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The ridge will break down Wednesday night allowing for an impulse from a Pacific low to bring a mix of rain and snow on Thursday, and light snow on Friday, then followed with a mix of showers and flurries again on Saturday, with cooler alpine temperatures Friday/Saturday. Moderate-strong ridge winds are also expected Thursday and light-moderate on Friday/Saturday. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1800-2400 m on Thursday and 1500-2000 m on Friday/Saturday.
