Park Chics & Park Chics Jr.

PARK CHICS (16+)

Park Chics is a female run program for all female identifying skiers and snowboarders. With small groups of no more than six (6) participants per coach, we'll get you comfortable riding/skiing in the terrain park and hitting new features in a fun, safe, relaxed environment.

We go out for a two (2) hour coaching session in the terrain park Friday nights from 4:30pm 6:30pm. 
Available for ages 16+

Friday early evenings! Everyone meets at 4:15 pm, and classes leave at 4:30 pm. The Big White Ski & Snowboard Park Coaches are all pumped to spend their evening with you in the Park!

Requirements:

• Able to comfortably link turns on groomed blue runs.
• Minimum of 3 participants required per class to run. 
• Participants are required to wear full length skis or snowboard. Snow blades and snow skates are not permitted
• Pre-registration is required by 2pm the day before the session, same day drop ins cannot be guaranteed a spot

Park Ability Levels:
Level 1 - I can ski/ride to the park chair easily, but have never been in park before and am ready to learn the basics.
Level 2 - I am hitting small and medium features and looking to add some new tricks.
Level 3 - I am comfortable with small and medium features and looking to develop my skills on large boxes, rails, and jumps.

Have you ever wanted to try Park Chics but are under the age of 16? You're in luck, check out our Park Chics Jr. program.

Whether you want to try out the terrain park for the first time, or you have been in the park but are not sure how to progress, this program is for you. We’ll get you comfortable riding/skiing in the terrain park and hitting new features in a fun, safe, relaxed environment.

We will go out for a 2-hour coaching session on Saturday afternoons. We will meet in the village at 1:15 and head up to the park at 1:30, ready for some afternoon laps.

Available for ages 10-15

You must be able to load and unload the Telus Park chair safely by yourself and reach the safety bar.
