Know Before You Go
Winter Rental Release Agreement
All renters must complete the Winter Rental Release Agreement each time they rent.
- Renters under the age of 19 require a parent or legal guardian to sign in person.
- If a guardian is not present, arrangements must be made in advance.
Valid Credit Card & Government-Issued Photo ID Required
A valid credit card and photo ID are required for a security swipe on all rentals, including online reservations.
- Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Travel Money Cards, and prepaid cards are not accepted for the security swipe.
- No credit card? A debit or cash deposit may be left for regular equipment only.
- High Performance equipment rentals require a valid credit card only (no debit or cash deposits accepted).
Mandatory Equipment Damage Protection Plan
The Equipment Damage Protection Plan is required for all ski and snowboard rentals and is included in the rates. This helps protect you from the cost of repairs or replacement due to accidental damage during regular use. This plan is non-refundable.
✅ Covers:
- Accidental damage to the rental equipment or its components during normal use.
❌ Does NOT cover:
- Theft or loss of equipment
- Negligent damage (e.g., skiing/boarding down roads, melting equipment next to heaters)
Renting Skis and Poles Only?
We offer rentals of skis and poles only; however, your personal boots must pass a visual inspection and meet a recognized boot sole standard compatible with our bindings when renting skis only. If your boots do not meet these requirements, you will need to add rental boots to your package.
Please bring both boots with you when picking up your skis so our team can inspect them.
Renting Ski Boots Only?
We do offer ski boot-only rentals; however, there are important limitations on what we can rent and adjust.
Our technicians can only adjust your personal skis if:
- The rental boot is compatible with your ski bindings and can be fitted without a remount
- Your bindings are included on our indemnified list (the list of bindings our technicians are certified to adjust), and you pay the additional calibration fee, which is required when adjusting personal skis.
If any of these conditions are not met, you may still rent boots only, but you will be responsible for adjusting your own skis at your own risk.
Please note that the majority of boots in our rental fleet have GripWalk soles, which may not be compatible with older binding models.

- All in one place – Find skis, snowboards, snowblades, snowshoes, clothing and nordic equipment in the Big White Rental Shop, located in the Village Centre Mall at the heart of the resort.
- Flexibility to explore – High Performance renters can switch between different skis or snowboards from our fleet throughout the day.
- Comfort guaranteed – If something doesn’t fit properly, stop by anytime and our team will adjust or replace your equipment so you can stay comfortable on the slopes.
- Extra value for families – Children under 13 receive a complimentary helmet with a full set rental gear (excluding Under 13 Childrens’ Season Passholder Season Renters).

We have a limited selection of high performance skis and snowboards for kids. Sizing starts at 110cm for skis and 125cm for snowboards. Availability is first come, first served, and our team will do their best to find the right fit from our fleet.

All rates are subject to change and do not include taxes. Multi-day rates apply to consecutive days only. If you would like to take a rest day, equipment must be returned, and a new rental will begin at the first-day rate when you resume.

Looking for new gear? Test it out first with our Try Before You Buy program.
- Rent a High Performance Ski or Snowboard from the Rental Shop for one day.
- Swap and try as many models as you like throughout the day (based on availability).
- If you purchase a full-price ski or snowboard from Dizzy’s, you’ll receive one day’s rental fee (ski or snowboard only) deducted from your purchase.
- Exclusions: Discounted/sale skis and certain models may not qualify.
Pro tip: Stop by Dizzy’s first so their expert team can recommend models they have in stock. While we can’t guarantee availability of every ski or board they suggest, we’ll do our best to match you with the right gear.
Ex-Rental Equipment for Sale
We sell ex-rental skis and snowboards at specific times of the year. Currently, equipment is available for purchase during summer operations. After summer, the next sale will take place toward the end of the winter season, with Saturday, March 28, 2026 scheduled as the official sale date.
- All sales are final and equipment is sold as-is.
- There are no refunds, exchanges, or warranties on used equipment.
- Purchases must be made in person at the shop. We do not offer online payments or shipping for used equipment.

Yes — and we encourage it! Early pick-up helps you get on the mountain faster the next day. Pick-up times vary depending on whether night skiing is running, so please check our Hours of Operation page for the latest schedule.- When night skiing is not running: 2:30–4:00pm
- When night skiing is running: 2:30–7:30pm (note: guests renting for night skiing only will be given priority)
