Big White’s 22/23 Season by the Numbers.
While it’s hard to say goodbye to the ski season with an epic amount of snow (27 new centimetres last night!) still gracing the slopes, Big White Ski Resort is officially closed for the 2022/2023 season, and it’s time to start digging out for a summer full of biking, hiking, and music festivals!
Here at Big White Ski Resort, we care, more than anything else, about providing a top quality experience not only for our guests, but for those who make their home on the mountain – including our extensive clowder of Snowcats.
Steeped in community, support and friendship, Big White Ski Resort’s annual Neil Edgeworth Memorial Banked Slalom has a legendary status among snowboarders across the province of British Columbia
On Friday, January 20, falling trees downed five power poles near Big White Ski Resort, resulting in an 18-hour power outage affecting hundreds of homes, dozens of businesses and thousands of guests.
We’ve decorated the trees and strung up the lights. We’ve written up lists. We’ve checked them twice. And we’ve made sure Canada’s Highest Skating Rink has plenty of ice.
